Visit son Martin Huber and his wife Judith at the Melchboden. At 2100 m, the highest point of the Zillertaler Höhenstrasse, you can eat traditional Austrian "Kaiserschmarren" or hike to the small lakes & meadows surrounded by alpine flowers. You can also go there in the afternoon for coffee and cake, while watching the paragliders take off and soar the mountaintops.
The second son Bernhard Huber and his wife Gitti are running a café/bar/aprés ski type restaurant in the beautiful town of Hopfgarten. The Rundell is only 50 minutes from Mayrhofen and it is a great place to go visit.
